We will be celebrating American Education Week every day this week!
Please allow your child to bring in their favorite book to share with the class Tuesday. We will be taking time throughout our day to enjoy our favorite books together.
WEDNESDAY IS CAREER DAY! Please have your child dress up as their future career.
Thursday - I need a parent volunteer to come and share a book with us. We will work with your schedule that entire day if you are able to come. Just send me an email and let me know your time frame. I would love it if we could spread several of you out throughout that day. Your child would also love it. I know you are all experts at this because every child in Room 124 loves literature!
If you would like a suggestion, we will be reading a lot about Thanksgiving this week. Any book that you may have that relates would be fantastic.
Friday is College Game Day. Have your child wear their favorite college shirt or sweatshirt.
Adopt-A-Troop information came home last week. Please look at the list and send in any items you are able to. We will be collecting these items until November 18th. What an excellent way to show our kids just how much we appreciate our military and all they do for us!

Your child received a new Spelling list for the Unit 3 Spelling words in their binder.

Math: We will begin Chapter 8 with 2-Digit Subtraction. This is another extremely important chapter that will require a lot of practice at home as well. Please make sure your child is doing their Math homework sheets that they bring home.
As we approach the Thanksgiving Holiday I have to tell each of you just how much I appreciate you and the amazing job you do as parents. Your child comes to school each day and represents you just so incredibly well! You will be happy to know that the hard work you do at home pays off with your child each and every day. I am so blessed to spend my day with your child. Thank you!!
